3421680 - 'User Creation Time' equals to NULL in Activity in SAP Analytics Cloud

Symptom

  • Users are created with "User Creation Time = Null" even though user is active and consuming license in SAC.
  • Due to this, license consumption is showing incorrectly and unable to add extra users or reassign existing ones due to the maximum limit of licenses consumed.

Environment

SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD 2023.21.8 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to SAC.
  2. Go to Security -> Activities
  3. Click on "Apply filter" (funnel icon)
  4. Select the check boxes for Activity, Username and Timestamp.
  5. In Activity, choose Create
  6. In Username, enter the username you want to search
  7. In Timestamp, choose the time period on which date you want to search the user creation activity.

Notice that the User creation timestamp equals to Null even though the user is created and is active in the tenant.

Resolution

Create a support case under LOD-ANA-ADM component and the support engineer will reach out to operations team for License migration process.
