3421834 - "Registered User Limit Exceeded" warning when viewing class Registrations

Symptom

When a LMS Administrator is viewing the Registrations within a class, the warning "Registered User Limit Exceeded" is displayed

Reproducing the Issue

Log into HXM > navigate to Learning Administration >
Learning Activities > Classes > search for the required class >
Open the record > go to the Registrations tab >
The warning is displayed

Cause

This message is expected to be displayed under the Registrations tab when registered users in a Class exceeds 2000. The Learning Product Management team designed the system this way to prevent performance issues, and the displayed message is intended.

Resolution

In order to find out the registered users for such classes, please run the standard LMS Registration Status Report, as stated in the warning message.

Also, if needed to add or update the users' registration status for such classes, you can use the Import Data feature (at Learning Administration > System Administration > System Management Tools Import data > Entity Type > Registrations).

Alternatively, to have a different system behavior, it would be possible to have an enhancement request created for it (as per KBA 2090228), where the Learning Product Management team can further review and assess the requested functionality to be considered in a future release. You can also check the possibility of a custom solution, by engaging your Partner or SAP Professional Services (KBA 2149831).
