3421839 - "Logo image. Home Page Link." message being displayed instead of Company Logo

Symptom

  • Logo is not being displayed on a specific browser but works fine on another. Example, it is not loading on Microsoft Edge but shows correctly on Google Chrome.
  • Instead of the company logo, the alternative text: "Logo Image. Home Page Link" is being displayed instead.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to instance via Google Chrome. 
  2. Logo on header loads fine. 
  3. Login to instance via Microsoft Edge or another browser. 
  4. "Logo image. Home page link" shows instead.

Resolution

Depending on where the logo was updated, re-uploading it likely helps resolving the issue. The following tools might be used to re-upload it:

  • Upload Company Logo
  • Company System and Logo Settings -> URL of the Company Logo
  • 'Theme Manager > Fine Tune > Logo'
  • External Logo Using an URL:
