3422233 - Unable to replicate the data due to an error when reading the data of InfoProvider

Remote table replication in SAP Datasphere returns the following error message index server trace logs: Error while accessing Value "XYZ
                                " (HEX 32...) of characteristic 0ABC contains an error at position 20 Error reading the data of InfoProvider XYZ$X Error while reading data; navigation is possible Navigation step has failed Error reading the data of InfoProvider

Characteristic that contains the hexadecimal values HEX00 to HEX1F is not allowed. More information you can find in SAP Note 173241.

For the resolution of the issue find the Hex value in the index server trace logs and convert it to ASCII Text String. After the conversion check if the prerequisites from SAP Note 173241 are fulfilled.
