When opening a document in quote, error message is thrown: "You are not authorized to view this document"
Environment
SAP CPQ
Reproducing the Issue
- Open a quote with existing documents
- In document tab, try to open a document
- Error is thrown
Cause
The issue could be caused by incorrect visibility conditions set on the document template. Specifically, the condition for visibility is set to 0, which is never evaluated, leading to inconsistent behavior of CPQ.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, the visibility condition on the document template needs to be changed to 1.
