Symptom
Setting "#" as default value for User Input filter in a custom analytical query.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud
Reproducing the Issue
- Open Custom Analytical Queries app.
- Open a custom query.
- Go to edit mode
- Go to Filters tab
- Select a dimension
- On the right side panel, select radio button "User Input Values"
- Enter Default Value: "#".
- The default value "#" vanishes.
Resolution
It is not supported to manually enter "#" as default value in the User Input Values filter of a custom analytical query.
