3422652 - Default value "#"(hash) in User Input Values for custom analytical queries app

Symptom

Setting "#"  as default value for User Input filter in a custom analytical query.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Custom Analytical Queries app.
  2. Open a custom query.
  3. Go to edit mode
  4. Go to Filters tab
  5. Select a dimension
  6. On the right side panel, select radio button "User Input Values"
  7. Enter Default Value: "#".
  8. The default value "#" vanishes.

Resolution

It is not supported to manually enter "#" as default value in the User Input Values filter of a custom analytical query.
