3422675 - Creating External Billing Document Requests Manually - Upload of Header Partners - S/4HANA Cloud

When leaving the column PRECEDINGDOCUMENTITEM empty, the upload will not work, hence it is not possible to upload header roles when uploading the BDR with partner roles on the tab IT_EBDR_REQUEST_PARTNER.

For IT_EBDR_REQUEST_TEXT worksheet, it is possible to maintain header texts when leaving the PRECEDINGDOCUMENTITEM column empty.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

• From the Manage Billing Document Requests app, it is possible to import billing data stored in Microsoft Excel format (*.XLSX) to create external billing document requests (EBDRs) manually.
• To ensure that the billing data in the file can be persisted in the system in EBDR form, you must structure your billing data according to the provided template file before uploading it to the system.
• You can download the template file from within the app.
• In worksheet IT_EBDR_REQUEST_PARTNER, you can enter partner data for the EBDR that you want to create.

You are not allowed to leave the PRECEDINGDOCUMENTITEM column empty on any field in IT_EBDR_REQUEST_PARTNER, it is mandatory to fill.

PRECEDINGDOCUMENTITEM column is mandatory to fill in all the field in IT_EBDR_REQUEST_PARTNER worksheet.

Regarding to IT_EBDR_REQUEST_TEXT, it is allowed to leave it empty to specify header-level text, that is why it is possible to maintain header texts without filling the whole column.
