Symptom
- Future dated terminations are closing Onboarding Processes prior to termination date.
- Business has a requirement to keep compliance tasks opened, however they're getting closed once future termination is selected.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding
Reproducing the Issue
- Although candidate is already Hired, their compliance tasks remain opened on Onboarding Dashboard
- After a future date termination is set in Employee Central, Hiring Manager would need to complete the Compliance task for candidate on Onboarding Dashboard
- However candidate is no longer on Onboarding Dashboard
- By checking Manage Data > Process > Search with Process ID/user ID, their Process Status is "Completed", Compliance Process Status is “Compliance process cancelled”
Cause
Termination option has a cascading/downstream effect for nearly all active objects for a particular user.
Resolution
Generally, the customer should be completing the Compliance documents first, and then terminating the Users.
Currently we don't have a workflow where we support the completion of Compliance documents after the Termination is selected.
