3423157 - Cannot assign a custom MRP controller to a material in the master data

You have maintained your own MRP controller in SSCUI 101114 - Define MRP Controllers in your Productive system. However, when you try to assign it to a material's master data via Change Material app, you get the error message "The MRP controller *** for plant **** cannot be used, because it is locked".
