3423157 - Cannot assign a custom MRP controller to a material in the master data

You have maintained your own MRP controller in SSCUI 101114 - Define MRP Controllers in your Productive system. However, when you try to assign it to a material's master data via Change Material app, you get the error message "The MRP controller *** for plant **** cannot be used, because it is locked". (Message no. WRF_MATERIAL109)

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create an MRP controller in SSCUI 101114 - Define MRP Controllers in Productive system.
2. Assign it to a material in Change Material app.
3. Get the error message.

The MRP controller is locked by the open change project in the Quality system which contains the MRP controller related configurations.
Although this configuration activity is "Redo in P" which means the configurations should be made directly in the P system. the unfinished change request in Q system will still affect the use of the MRP controller in the P system.

Finish the corresponding change project in the Q system, then the MRP controller can be used in the P system.
