What will change when enabling Unified Data Model?

The site itself (category, content and landing pages) will not be affected
The Search experience is the biggest change and requires configuration or no options will be shown.

New configuration (new settings)
Search filters : found under Layouts /  Search Results : determines which facets are available in the search to filter jobs by. 
Results cards : found under Layouts /  Search Results : determines which fields are visible in the result cards 
both are configured via a field selector with a max of 10. Fields from the requisition templates are available for selection.

What needs to be redone (updated features)
Category rules need to be reviewed : category pages and rules are ported but as solr syntax is no longer supported in rules these are ignored. Customers must review and update existing rules to match their needs 
Job layouts are not ported so need to be recreated from scratch if needed. A fallback layout with limited components is present by default upon UDM enablement and applied to all jobs. 
The default layout can simply be updated if a single layout is required but additional custom layouts can be created depending on requirement.
Search Styling must be adjusted under Global Styles / Search Experience and Search Form. We do offer new default styling though so this is not a requirement
Job alert templates need to be checked for token changes. 
DCF job alerts need to be reviewed for rules too
