3425497 - How To Configurate An E-Mail Template in a Workflow Rule of Type Notification

You are trying to create a workflow rule of type Notification with a custom e-mail template, however the notification e-mail sent is the default and there is no option to change the template.

This is the expected system behavior. The workflow rules of type Notification always use the standard template, and it currently cannot be modified.

As a workaround for this scenario you can create a new workflow rule of type E-mail and select the specific template by following the below steps:

1. Go to Application and User Management Work Center.
2. Go to Workflow Rules View.
3. Click on New.
4. Go to the Step 3 - Define Actions, in the workflow rule creation.
5. In the Rule Type field, select E-Mail.
6. In the Template File field, click on Browse button.

You can select the specific HTML file template for the workflow rule mentioned.

The e-mail will be sent with the template selected.
