3425523 - User provisioning to SAC using API version 2 causes issues if the user was already created using SAC API version 1

Symptom

  1. There is an integration with the target system Enterprise SAC (API version 2), where user creation is failing for some users, resulting in an error message:
    • {"schemas":["urn:ietf:params:scim:api:messages:2.0:Error"],"status":"400","scimType":"invalidSyntax","detail":"Request is unparsable, syntactically incorrect, or violates schema"}
  2. The failing payload shows an "id": <username>
