Kit KIT_1 has two items - KI_1 and KI_2. The two items are also input products in a production model whose output product is PROD_1.
When running MRP (multi BoM level) against PROD_1, purchase proposal created for KI_1 and KI_2. However, you expect purchase proposal created for kit KIT_1.

Cause
Kit has no function of planning, hence supply planning won't consider kit product.
Resolution
This is system standard behavior.
