• Onboarding 1.0 candidate exported with invalid characters.
• Standard export data for new hires exported the user's last name with unexpected characters.
• Sample Correct Last Name: Ramírez
• Sample Exported Last Name: Ramírez 

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

This has been confirmed as a product defect by the Engineering Team and are working on a permanent fix.

WORKAROUND:

• Open the file via Notepad/Notepad++
• Notepad/Notepad++ will show the characters properly.

PERMANENT FIX: ONB-34832

• The Engineering Team has introduced a code-fix and awaiting confirmation for the fix version and deployment date.
