3425722 - Error "No root key matching hash" when recoverying HANA Database with encrypted files

Symptom

HANA Backup Encryption was not configured before the backups were taken and now getting the following error while trying to restore on a new HANA Database version where Encryption was enabled by default:

RECOVER DATA failed with error: 

Backup rootkey xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is required for decryption of backup files, but not found in key store. 
Please make sure you have provided the necessary keys before recovery.
 
No root key matching hash=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx INQUIRE finished with error: [449] recovery strategy could not be determined, [110313] Could not load neither backup catalog nor snapshot info, [110083] Catalog backup not found using /hana/backup/DB_ABC/, [110081] Catalog backup log_backup_0_0_0_0 not found
