3425907 - Unable to launch UDT with Error: 'designer.exe - Entry Point Not Found'

Symptom

  • After a fresh installation of SAP BusinessObjects Client Tools, unable to launch Universe Design Tool
  • When attempting to launch Universe Design tool, it fails to open with one of the following errors:

designer.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point <ENTRY POINT> could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\SAPBusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\designer.exe.
