3426565 - Back button in Work Zone Fiori Launchpad not working to navigate from one application to another

Symptom

  • In SAP Build Work Zone the back button does not work when navigating from one application to another
  • One of the involved applications is running an SAPUI5 version older than 1.120
  • The following error is displayed in the Browser Console
    App-defined navigation mode is not valid! - Fallback to URL Template's capability sap.ushell.ApplicationType
  • After clicking at the back button, the bellow message may be displayed:
    Target was not found.
