3426922 - Integrate Jam Instance ID to a different Bizx company ID

Symptom

  • Integrate JAM Instance ID "ABC123" to a different Bizx Company ID "XYZ321".
  • Jam Instance ID and Bizx company ID are not the same
  • When attempting to log in to SuccessFactors and navigate to Jam, a login page appears.
  • The customer wishes to use their other Jam Instance to upgrade to Workzone.

Resolution

This is not considered as a correct mapping. This is why users are also seeing a login page, as it is an expected behavior. The configuration they are requesting is not currently supported. The BizX company ID must match the JAM instance ID.   

You can build a Work Zone instance even if you do not have an old Jam instance ID for the same Bizx company ID that you would like to build a Work Zone. The work zone setup wizard will give you the option to proceed with the “new tenant” option at the very first step.
