In the Fiori Application Library for the App "Display Line Item Entry" the following is stated:

Note: This application is not registered for Extensibility.

If you still have the requirement to display custom fields in the context of a journal entry/journal entry item, then we recommend doing the following:

1. 1.Enable your custom fields for the application "Display Line Items in General Ledger."
2. 2.Add your fields from the context of the journal entry/journal entry item via data source extension to the application "Display Line Items in General Ledger."
