3427451 - You are unable to specify different account assignments for different products/line items in a Shopping Cart

You would like to know if there is a feasibility of specifying different account assignments for different products/line items in a shopping Cart.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Home work center.
2. Go to the Self Services
3. Self-Services Overview.
4. Select Go Shopping or Go Shopping (Advanced).
5. Enter the mandatory details
6. Update the cost assignment data under Charge To.
7. Enter the account assignment details.
8. You expect to have different account assignments for different products but it is feasible.

This is not feasible in the system and the system works as designed.

The account assignment can be split only for one account assignment type.

Only at the header level for the shopping cart, You can split the account assignment for a shopping cart . For example, for document ABC, the account assignment can be split as follows:

20% — Cost center 1

20% — Cost center 2

60% — Cost center 3

For example, the assignment can be made only for cost centers or only projects, but it cannot be split between cost centers and projects
