3427686 - Candidates automatically disposed to Requisition Closed status do not receive notification - Recruiting Management

Candidates automatically disposed to Requisition Closed status sometimes do not receive the configured status triggered email notification.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Enable the "Automatically disposition non-selected in-progress applicants on closed requisitions to status 'Requisition Closed'" in Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Settings;
2. Enable the status triggered notification in Requisition Closed status in the applicant status set settings;
3. Complete the hire process for candidate(s).

Depending on how the hiring process has been conducted, we can identify two possible scenarios:

Scenario 1: Candidate Hired into EC directly from Recruiting

In this situation, the candidates will receive the email.

Scenario 2: Candidate Hired into EC from Recruiting via Onboarding 2.0

Candidate will receive the notification when candidate has been hired via onboarding 2.0 

Scenario 3: Candidate Hired into EC from Recruiting via Onboarding 1.0

In this scenario, the candidate does not receive the email notification. This behaviour is caused by specificities in the Onboarding integration, when using Onboarding 1.0
