3427717 - Missing beans errors when overriding SAML Spring Security Configuration - SAP Commerce Cloud

Symptom

Issues may arise when attempting to override the spring-security-config.xml of the samlsinglesignon extension, either using buildcallbacks or ccv2.file.override properties. One such problem that can occur is found in the error message:

"Error creating bean with name 'org.springframework.security.web.DefaultSecurityFilterChain#2': Cannot resolve reference to bean 'metadataGeneratorFilter' while setting constructor argument with key [0];"

Bean errors such as these can obstruct the Spring Context from starting. This, in turn, can inhibit the platform from coming online. As a result, deployments may stall indefinitely until they eventually fail.
