3427739 - "An error is preventing the chart from being displayed." while trying to use Expand to view more nodes of the hierarchy in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Function Expand to view more nodes of the hierarchy in a waterfall chart will result in error message in a story in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Error: "An error is preventing the chart from being displayed."

SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2023.21.16

1. Login to SAC.
2. Open the story based on live data connection e.g. to SAP BW.
3. Right click on the R-Hierarchy Widget.
4. Select Expand to view more nodes of the hierarchy e.g. Hierarchy level 1 - Hierarchy level 2 => nothing happens.
5. Repeat the steps, select Expand to view more nodes of the hierarchy e.g. Hierarchy level 1 - Hierarchy level 2 => Error comes: "An error is preventing the chart from being displayed."
