Symptom
You have used the PTP Time Data Replication to replicate planned working time data from Employee Central (EC) to an SAP Payroll system. In the past the field Daily Work Schedule Class (technical name TPKLA) of infotype 2003 was left initial.
With release H1 2024, you can now map the EC entity Shift Classification to the field Daily Work Schedule Class of infotype 2003. The Shift Classification is an entity that can be specified for Work Schedule Day Models and for Work Schedules.
You want to turn on the mapping of the Shift Classification to the Daily Work Schedule Class such that the new mapping applies starting on a certain key date, while the field Daily Work Schedule Class of infotype 2003 remains initial before that key date. This KBA explains how you can set up the mapping for PTP Time Data Replication to assure this.
