Symptom

When trying to use a tool or a functionality that requires CDS connectors to be used, error message "Search connector for category EAM_TECHOBJ is not active" comes up and the required actions are unable to be carried out. It can be a single search or when attempting to create a maintenance order and searching for a technical object using the F4, for example.
