Symptom

When using a tool or function that requires EAM Enterprise Search connectors to be used an error message "Search connector for category EAM_TECHOBJ is not active" comes up and the requisite actions cannot be carried out. Typically this cause by an app. requiring access to Equipment or Functional Location ESH connectors.
