3428355 - EPM Add-in Book Publication fails with error 80040154 Class not registered

Symptom

When using the EPM Book Publication feature to publish reports to a Single PDF, the process terminates with an error:

A problem has occurred: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {DF98DC5D-C691-4197-8E4C-AE1C379C3A24} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)).
