3428499 - Source Of Supply Not Displayed For Purchase Proposals

- Inability to view existing Source or Supply for Purchase Proposals in Supply planning.
- The source field appears empty when creating a new planning proposal.
- No source of supply is visible when attempting to change the source of supply.
- This behavior persists despite having maintained Active and valid List Prices for the product.

- SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Supply Planning Work center.
2. Navigate to the Products view.
3. Search and select the relevant product planning area combination.
4. Choose the Open button.
5. In the Product Planning Details screen, select the New Planning Proposal button.
6. Enter the relevant quantity, choose the above line to refresh the new added proposal line.
7. Notice that the source field is empty.
8. Click on the Change source of supply button, observe that no source of supply is listed.

In the product master data, under tab Planning, for corresponding planning area, there are Procurement Lead Time and Goods Receipt Processing Time maintained.

In purchase proposal, Planned Order Date = Availability Date - Procurement Lead Time - Goods Receipt Processing Time

There is no valid list price on the Planned Order Date.

The purchase proposal should have an Availability Date whose calculated planned order date falling in between the valid from and valid to date of corresponding list price.
