3428663 - Can the employee ID be edited for Disability form? - Onboarding

Symptom

Can the employee ID be edited for Disability form?

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Candidate has a Voluntary Self‐Identification of Disability Form assigned
  2. Candidate opens the form to sign it
  3. Notice the Employee ID field is not greyed out and editable

Cause

Field should be editable to allow customers to use any field of their choice. Customers have their own ID numbering systems with alpha numeric and special characters such as ‘ / ‘ or ‘ – ‘ in their employee ids .

Resolution

As per the current system design this is a default feature as customers require to enter their own employee ID that might not be generated by the system.

If you think this would be a good feature for Onboarding, please, submit your idea on our Influence page for an Enhancement Request. You can also check the following KBA for more information on requesting an Enhancement: 2090228 - How to submit enhancement requests for SAP SuccessFactors products.
