Symptom
User has created an HTML Mashup in Mashup Authoring, but when previewed, the system displays an error: Refused to Connect.
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Application and User Management workcenter
- Go to Mashup Authoring view
- Select the New Button
- Choose HTML Mashup
- Enter the General Information such as Port Binding Type, Mashup Category, Mashup Name
- Under Configuration Information, select the Type as URL and enter the URL
- Under Request Parameter, select Add Row
- Enter the parameter details, for example: Employee ID
- Now click on Preview
Observe the error 'Refused to Connect'
Cause
Request Parameters are added to the HTML Mashup.
Resolution
For the combination of HTML Mashup and Configuration Type as URL, the Request Parameters are not supported as per the Standard System Behaviour. Remove the Request Parameters as per the below steps and save the HTML mashup, now the preview should work as intended.
- Go to Application and User Management workcenter
- Go to Mashup Authoring view
- Select the New Button
- Choose HTML Mashup
- Enter the General Information such as Port Binding Type, Mashup Category, Mashup Name
- Under Configuration Information, select the Type as URL and enter the URL
- Under Request Parameter, remove the line
