Symptom

There is a system crash while creating a shopping cart for a specific user 

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

1. Go to Home work center

2. Go to the Self-Services view

3. Click on Go Shopping (Advanced)

4. The system dumps for employee PQR(PQR means employee id)

Cause

The address is not maintained for the user/employee in the system

Resolution

  1. Go to the Personnel Administration work center
  2. Employees view
  3. Select the employee - PQR
  4. In the Personal Data
  5. Further, navigate to the Private contact data
  6. You can maintain the address and click on the save and close button

You can create the shopping cart after this change and you must not encounter the error.
