Symptom
Import jobs are taking long time to refresh after increasing the number of rows in the query.
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud
Connection - Import
Reproducing the Issue
- Login to SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Open any existing model on which import jobs are scheduled.
- Go to Data Management.
- Refresh the import job.
Notice that the job is taking long time to refresh.
Cause
Working as expected.
Resolution
According to calculations, the import jobs are running as expected :
Newly added no. of rows (x) / previous no. of rows (y) = (z) times (approx).
z * time taken before adding new rows = t
t / 60 secs = t' (approx)
Hence, according to the calculation, it is working as expected. Additionally, here are some import jobs running parallelly due to which it may take sometime.
