3430520 - BPC MS: Web Server Diagnostic page displays errors

Symptom

When opening the Web Server Diagnostic page some of the sections display an error status:

[Microsoft and 3rd Party Software]
Web Service Extensions
Currently: CAUTION: The request access was denied;please use SAP Business Planning and Consolidation Server Manager to check it.
Status: Incorrect

[IIS Configuration]
SAP Virtual Directory
Cannot get SAP virtual directory object: The request access was denied;please use SAP Business Planning and Consolidation Server Manager to check it.

When accessing the Server -> Diagnostic screen via the BPC Server Manager there are no errors displayed.
