3430788 - Error "Failed to call function RSDRI_INFOPROV_READOTHERS " Occurs When Adding a Dimension to a Model

Symptom

  • When trying to add a new dimension to a model, the error message "Failed to call function RSDRI_INFOPROV_READOTHERS" pops-up when saving and processing the model. 
  • When running the T-code SM21 in the backend, the following text messages are detected:

!!! SQL exception was caught !!! Numeric overflow for
>parameter/column (2) source type FIXED12, target type
>DECIMAL, value '.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx', target
>precision 21, target scale 7 SQL_CODE = 10811 / SQL_MSG =
>Numeric overflow for parameter/column (2) source type
>FIXED12, target type DECIMAL
