3430971 - Time Account Balance does not Respect "Balance Cannot Fall Below" Setting

• The field Balance Cannot Fall Below is blank, or set to 0
• The employee has a balance available on the Time Account even though they've already used their accrual balance

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. On the Time Account Type, the Balance cannot fall below field is set to 0
2. On the employee's Time Account, the available balance is negative

Or, 

1. The employee received an accrual posting, for example 20 days, and the employee has requested 20 days absence. However, the Time Account shows a negative balance.

Scenario 1:

A recalculation was triggered and updated the employee's Time Account posting amount after the absences were created.

For example;

• The employee receives 20 days accrual
• There are absences created for the employee using the full Time Account balance, i.e. The Time Account balance is 0.
• Changes to the employee's Job Information (or, other data changes) trigger recalculation which updates the employee's accrual posting to 15days - The Time Account balance now appears as -5 days

Scenario 2:

The Manual Adjustment has been edited.

For example;

• There is a Manual Adjustment on the Time Account for 2 days
• There are absences created for the employee using the full Time Account balance, i.e. The Time Account balance is 0.
• The Manual Adjustment is edited to 1 day - The Time Account balance now appears as -1 day

The system is currently operating as designed.
