3431494 - NIEHOST_UNKNOWN for HTTP destinations in SM59 with hostnames longer than 100 characters

Symptom

When performing a connection test in a HTTP destination (type H or G) in transaction SM59 for an ABAP system, a NIEHOST_UNKNOWN error is returned when the hostname contains more than 100 characters. It is perceived that the hostname is cut at the 101st character.
