With Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM) 2.0 SP16, HANA Rest Encryption is activated by default, but SWPM does not allow for the deselection of this feature:

The SWPM installs HANA and SAP simultaneously on a new VM (not distributed). In this case, we expect SWPM to provide the option to deselect this feature. The DB is installed on NetApp Storage, where data encryption is enabled by default.
