3431644 - The field "Owner" is not available in Customer Merge

Symptom

The field "Owner" is not available when merging customers.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Customer Merge work center.
  2. Hit on the cross icon to create a customer merge task.
  3. Select two customers.
  4. Save and open the task.
  5. The standard field "Owner" is not available under the tab "Attribute Selection".

Resolution

The standard field "owner" is not provided in the attribute selection of the Account Merge. In general, "owner" is only transferred from duplicate to surviving record if the surviving record does not have an owner set.
