Symptom
- You are using a pre-selection filter in an auto-complete attribute, and it's fetching only one value as a result.
- Expectation is that IF only one value shows under the custom field in the quote, due to the preselection filter, then this value needs to be auto-populated in the custom field, instead of having to click on it.
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a custom field of type attribute
- Link it to an auto-complete attribute
- Add a pre-selection filter to the auto-complete attribute
- Create a new quote
- Expectation is that if the custom field shows only 1 value in it's dropdown, then it should be auto-filled in the custom field.
Resolution
Since this is happening as per design, please raise an Enhancement request in the Influence portal, if you want the feature of having the data to be auto-populated in the custom field when only 1 value is present due to the preselection filter.
