3431705 - Installation of data marketplace content fails with error message

Symptom

Installation of data marketplace content fails with error message:
Failed to Installation <data product> for space XXX (correlation-id: 8a85d0b4-4d26-4033-79b3-aaeac85327c8), because Failed to create trust "bb3ff5b1-38bd-4cfe-ab1c-4815920a786a"

Reproducing the Issue

1. Open Data Marketplace
2. Open My Data Product
3. Open Delivery Tracking
4. Check installation failures

Cause

SSL certificate "DigiCert Global Root CA" invalid or missing

Resolution

A fix has already been implemented as part of version 2024.5 and is available in your system by end of February.
For updated deployment information, please see SAP Note 2984828 - SAP Datasphere Release & Delivery Schedule.
As global deployment usually takes 24 hours around this date, you may plan to test the fix one day later.

Until then, there is a manual workaround you can follow. To allow the product installation, you have to upload the attached SSL certificate DigiCert Global Root CA manually to your tenant with the following description:

"bb3ff5b1-38bd-4cfe-ab1c-4815920a786a".

The description "bb3ff5b1-38bd-4cfe-ab1c-4815920a786a" is the UUID of the data provider tenant.

To upload the certificate, please follow the steps as described here:

In case the DigiCert Global Root CA certificate already exists in your tenant, please delete the entry first, then upload the certificate again using the UUID as a description as mentioned before.

Please note that deleting and uploading the certificate with a new description does not break any other processes in your tenant.
