Symptom

When trying to:

  • Display Sales Documents
  • Create Documents referring to specific Sales Documents
  • Change Sales documents
  • Cancel Sales Documents

User receives the following error message: Document '&' is currently being processed (by user CB*)

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open a sales document in change mode.
  2. Attempt to display, change, or create a document with reference to the sales document currently opened in change mode. 

Cause

To prevent data inconsistency, when a user is in change mode of a Business Application document, other users are restricted from displaying, changing, or creating documents with reference to the document currently opened in change mode.
