3431963 - Data source is greyed out in embedded SAP Analytics Cloud (eSAC) - SuccessFactors (SFSF) story report

• Data source (query) is greyed out and cannot be accessed in embedded SAP Analytics Cloud (eSAC) - SuccessFactors (SFSF) story report
• When opening affected story report noticing the error: 'Server Error: The table failed to initialize: You do not have the correct permissions to open that model.'

• Affected Data source is greyed out under the 'Data source' menu option

• Duplicating gives the following error: Please contact your administrator.
  This filter is no longer usable because the data source, dimension, selected hierarchy or custom group no longer exists; the dimension has a missing required hierarchy; or the dimension type has changed.
  An error occurred while fetching the list of members

   

•  Error found in HAR - Network traces > contentlib -> Preview tab: No properties - no model can be found

• Embedded SAP Analytics Cloud  2024.2.3
• SAP SuccessFactors (SFSF)

1. Login to SAC tenant
2. Login to SuccessFactors (SFSF)
3. Navigate to Reporting in SFSF
4. Select the affected story report
5. Run the affected Story report
6. Switch to Edit mode
7. Notice
   • the error in the table: 'Server Error: The table failed to initialize: You do not have the correct permissions to open that model.'
   • the greyed out data source in Edit mode
   • after duplication: Please contact your administrator.
     This filter is no longer usable because the data source, dimension, selected hierarchy or custom group no longer exists; the dimension has a missing required hierarchy; or the dimension type has changed.
     An error occurred while fetching the list of members.

Data source that wouldn't open in the story no longer exists in the database.

• Add the same Data source again and set the Data source of the table.
• Or remove the table and re-add both the table and Data source.
