3432052 - Embedded Report Does Not Load Data In The Sales Quotes Or Sales Order Overview Screen

An embedded report added to the Sales Quote or Sales Order Overview screen does not load data in the first instance when a Sales Quote or Sales Order is opened. When you switch tabs and come back to overview tab, the data is loaded.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Sales work center.
2. Navigate to Sales Quotes or Sales Orders work center view.
3. Select any Sales Quote or Sales Order.
4. Click on the 'Open Object Detail' icon.
5. Check the embedded report added to the Overview tab.

The data will not be loaded and the embedded report section would be empty.

The logged in user does not have write access to the Sales Order or Sales Quote work center view.

This is designed system behavior.

The logged in user should have both read and write access.

Workaround : If user do not have write access due to business needs, then following workaround can be adopted.

1. If the number of users having read-only access are more than the users who have both read and write access, then embedded report should be maintained in collapsed view. When user click on expand, data will be loaded.
2. If number of users having read-only access are lesser, then users can just click on any other tab and then come back to overview tab, user can see data in the embedded report.
