3432299 - Contract End Date Affects Outcome of Accrual Posting Amount

• Accrual posting amount is returning 0 days
• Past dated contract end date does not post expected Accrual amount

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• Employee's Contract End Date is reached, or their Contract End Date is updated to a past date
• The accrual posting amount on the employee's Time Account recalculated, or is initially posting, as 0 days

This is currently a system limitation. When the Contract End Date has passed, the system does not consider the employee for the current accrual period.

The engineering team are working on an enhancement to improve this behaviour. The enhancement is tentatively scheduled for the b2405 release, once a date is confirmed this KBA will be updated.

Until the feature is enhanced, the below work arounds can be used:

1. Extend the Contract End Date in Job Info. Or,
2. Remove the Contract End Date in Job Info.
