3432553 - Data action "preparing to execute" step taking too long with MEMBERSET that contains lots of members in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC)

In the data action, if the MEMBERSET statement contains lots of members, it would cause performance issue especially in the preparation to execute step.
For example, MEMBERSET  [d/Product] != "#".   (the dimension Product contains over 2 million members)

If you filter fewer members in the MEMBERSET statement, the time consumed by the preparation to execute step decreases dramatically.
For example, MEMBERSET  [d/Product] = "100".

1. Run a data action of the advanced formula step where a MEMBERSET statement contains lots of members.

This is a product issue and the development team is investigating how to improve the preparation step including this issue.

The SAC development team is investigating how to improve the preparation step including this issue.

As a workaround, please replace MEMBERSET  [d/Product] != "#" with IF condition to exclude "#". It decreases the required resource a lot in the preparation step.
