3432628 - Highest fiscal year is read only in Make Company Code Settings app - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The field Highest fiscal year is read only in the Make Company Code Settings - Asset Accounting-Specific app.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open Make Company Codes Settings app.
2. Select your company code, and navigate to the ledger.
3. The field High fiscal year is not editable. 

The Highest Open Fiscal Year on Ledger level is only editable when:

• The Company Code is unlocked,
• The Company Code Status is not set to “Deactivated” and
• There are no existing assets in the Fiscal Year and the Highest Open Fiscal Year is initial

• Check the company code is not locked.
• Check the company code is no deactivated.
• Check if there are assets already created, see if they can be deleted. Once delete the fixed assets, the Highest Open Fiscal Year become editable again.
