3432736 - Partner is not created in S/4HANA Cloud via CPI or API

Symptom

When posting the sales order to S/4HANA Cloud via CPI or the Sales Order API, a certain partner (e.g. "External Sales Agent") is not created in S/4HANA Cloud.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Cause

The partner to be set as "External Sales Agent" is not maintained as a "Supplier" in the S/4HANA Cloud system.

Resolution

The issue can be resolved by maintaining the partner (which is to be set as "External Sales Agent") as a "Supplier" in the S/4HANA Cloud system.
