There is a new field in customizing (SPRO - SCM Extended Warehouse Management > Extended Warehouse Management > Cross-Process Settings > Quality Management > Basics and Integration > Define and Activate Warehouse-Dependent IOTs) to switch on functionality "Split External Sample Quantity" on warehouse level, which affects the external sample quantity calculation in different ways.
