3433292 - Decoding Of Barcode Failed

- Inability to successfully provide Bar Code Input while receiving products in SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to Inbound Logistics work center.
2. Navigate to the Purchase Orders view.
3. Select the relevant purchase order and choose the Post Goods Receipt button.
4. Under the line items tab, select the sub-tab Bar Code Input.

You need to understand how to correctly enter the information without errors in the field Bar Code. 

- The data entered is not in the correct format expected by the system.
- The data needs to be entered as per the configurations maintained in the Business Configuration activity .
- The standard Bar Code Type in the system is Bar Code Type UCC/EAN 128.
- There are application identifiers against application fields which can be viewed in the Bar Code type screen.

1. If you need the system to read the Product with id ABC has quantity 20 to be received, you need to input this information as follows: 91ABC]C13020.
- 91 is the application identifier for the Product ID.
- ]C1 indicates to the system to expect the next application identifier.
- 30 is the application identifier for Quantities in Ea.
2. You can use this combination for multiple fields and enter the data as one string.
3. If you choose to enter each field individually, you can avoid using the separator ]C1 and enter the information one by one in the field Bar Code.
