3433406 - Talent Search 'Rating & Attributes' Results Are Showing Employees Based on Previous Ratings Instead of Current Ratings

Symptom

After migrating to Talent Intelligence Hub, searching for a competency rating and selecting a rating range shows results based on previous ratings and not current ratings.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Succession Management
  • SAP Successfactors Talent Intelligence Hub

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to system
  2. Navigate to Admin Center > Go to Talent Search
  3. Select More options...
  4. Locate Ratings & Attributes > select the + icon or the down arrow > Select Competencies...
  5. Locate a competency and check the box to select it > Select
  6. Set the FROM and To fields to the same value (i.e., "4" to "4") > Search
  7. Results generate users who previously had the value instead of users who currently have the value

Resolution

A job will need to be processed to migrate growth portfolio data into the table that Talent Search can pull from:

  1. Log in to system
  2. Navigate to Admin Center > Scheduled Job Manager
  3. Select the Job Scheduler tab
  4. Select + Create Job Request
  5. Populate the following:
    • Job Name: Migrate Portfolio Data to Growth Portfolio
    • Job Type: Migrate Portfolio Data to Growth Portfolio
    • Occurrence: One-Time
    • Start: [select current date and time]
  6. Select Submit
  7. Locate the job and select Actions > Run It Now
  8. Note: The job will process and can take up to 3 hours for data to populate depending on the amount of data in your system.
