3433652 - SJOBREPO shows Job Repository is active but user is locked, or user doesn't exist

Symptom

  • Transaction SJOBREPO displays a message across the top of the screen that the Job Repository is active but the user is locked:  "Automatic job scheduling is available in client, but user is locked"
  • Or transaction SJOBREPO displays a message across the top of the screen that "**Autom. Job Scheduling available in client, but user doesn’t exist**"
  • As a result the jobs in the Technical Job Repository are not running / not released.
